Technical Education Coordinator

Blinn College has posted a job opening for the position of Technical Education Coordinator. This is a 12-moth position. Coordinates technical education and Perkins programs and completes and verifies accuracy of all Perkins compliance requirements and reports. Examples, ie. state and federal reports, state plan assistance, completes all phases of Perkins/ Blinn College compliance within the college district. Coordinates, designs, plans and follows through with implementation of divisional trades, industry, health professions, leisure and other programming, works with student services, business operations, and reporting for department. Assists with enrollment in courses and programs to meet department metrics and goals.

Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract.

The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.


REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 36 months of full time networking work experience. A criminal background check is required.
