The Texas Association of College Technical Educators sponsors two conferences each year for members to come together to discuss and plan for better and more efficient means of meeting the education and training needs of Texas’ business and industry, and to address internal administrative/operational procedures to meet state and federal requirements. These two TACTE conferences are conducted – one in the early Fall (usually the first week of October) and one in early Spring (usually the first week of April).

At the TACTE conferences special sessions are planned that :

  » provide the latest in workforce/economic development news and information
  » provide legislative and agency updates of significance to workforce education and training
  » provide workshops on topics of interest and staff development to better prepare the TACTE membership in assisting business and
     industry in addressing their educational needs
